What programs do you offer for young children and their families?

We help parents find high quality preschool and child care that fits their family’s needs. We have a Child Care Navigation (CCN) team that can provide extensive support and follow up for families who are searching for care. Our CCN team will assist families in calling providers, setting up tours, seeing if they qualify for DHHS Scholarships, getting connected to other community resources and more!

How do families enroll in your programs?

Our program is completely free to all families! Simply call us (616-447-5678) or send an email (findchildcare@kentisd.org) to be connected to a Child Care Navigator. Families can also visit our website (www.GreatStartToQuality.org) to find resources to support their child care search or do a search on their own.

How does your organization use parent voice to inform your programs?

Every parent we help is encouraged to take a survey to help provide us with feedback on our process. We are always looking for ways to make improvements.
