Partner Spotlight: Grand Rapids Children’s Museum
What programs do you offer for young children and their families?
The Grand Rapids Children’s Museum invites young children and their families to learn, play, and explore through our hands-on interactive exhibits, daily drop-in programming, and special events. From Open Paint to Sensory Friendly Playtimes, there are lots of ways to play at the Museum!
How do families enroll in your programs?
Families can pay admission during open hours or sign up to become members. We are thrilled to offer discounted admission and memberships to families with EBT or WIC cards through our Museums for All program– ticket prices are reduced to $1.75 per person or $20 for a one year membership with unlimited admission. Visit our website or ask our front desk for more information!
How does your organization use parent voice to inform your programs?
The Museum uses both caregiver and child voices to inform our programs by conducting focus groups, administering surveys, and monitoring public reviews. We also have a visitor experience survey available for guests in the museum– we encourage you to share your feedback on your next visit!
What do you most appreciate about your GSC membership?
The Great Start Collaborative allows our organization to connect with others that serve children in the area, learn about the challenges our families are facing, and form partnerships that make our services better. We are so grateful for the community GSC has created.
Please add any additional information you would like for us to know about your organization.
