Partner Spotlight: Conductive Learning Center

What programs do you offer for young children and their families?

CLC offers intensive education based physical rehabilitation for children with motor disorders and guidance for families and caregivers to support their child’s learning. We serve students 0-28 years of age through conductive education in 4-week sessions throughout the school calendar year and in one 4-week summer camp. Work within our classrooms includes physical mobility, social/emotional learning, self-care skills, and cognitive development.

How do families enroll in your programs?

Interested families must call to set up an assessment with our Program Director to determine if conductive education is the right fit for their child. Upon approval in to the program, families fill out an application form.

How does your organization use parent voice to inform your programs?

CLC works alongside caregivers to prioritize the needs of the student in their school and home environment. Each child’s unique goals are developed through a meeting with caregivers and teachers, both at the beginning and end of each session. Parent input and suggestions directly impact how CLC serves their child.
