Home-Based Providers Event

This past July, the Parent Coalition hosted a dinner for home-based childcare providers. These providers were given learning activities and materials that featured books from the Great Start Collaborative’s Early Literacy Calendar, which was developed by our former director, Judy Freeman. Freeman returned to help demonstrate ideas for providers, one which prompted participants to construct an astronaut helmet out of a paper bag.
